CBP’s Growth in the Middle East and Africa
Amol Awasthi moved to Dubai, UAE, in 2006 to start a branch of CBP that would focus on meeting the fast growing IT needs of Africa and the Middle East. He had a goal to bring cutting-edge IT solutions to the industry which would help businesses become more modern and grow.
Amol really worked hard and made remarkable contributions that broke new ground. He successfully led CBP’s growth into Senegal, Guinea, Cameroon, and Egypt, among other African countries. In these areas, CBP brought new IT infrastructure options that changed the way business was done. It became famous for being able to connect new technologies with the needs of businesses in emerging countries while Amol was in charge of CBP.
These days, CBP has more than 200 employees and makes $25 million a year. Being a System Integrator and an Oracle Platinum Partner shows that the company is a leader in providing top-notch IT services.
Despite his responsibilities at CBP, he is also a Strategic Investor and a Board Member. He invests in a lot of different businesses, usually new ones that share his interest in sustainability and new ideas.
He has invested a big part of his money in Terra Firma Commodities (TFC), based in Dubai. Amol is committed towards the sustainability of TFC’s and keeps his focus on doing a business that is good for the earth.
